The £60 strategy call
Was the hour worth it?
Me telling you an hour is worth £60 doesn't count for much. So here's what founders said afterwards, in their words, about what actually changed.
7 reviews from founders who booked the one-off call. Published with permission, in their own words.
It's a short list, and deliberately so. I've only offered the one-off hour as its own service since August 2026, so this is everyone who has been through it and written back. I'd rather show you a handful of real ones than pad it out.
“Thank you very much for the great call and the detailed insights you gave us based on your experience. We are glad to have you on board for this and maybe future launches together.”
“Much clearer about the benefits and specific purpose of Kickstarter in relation to my project. Clear practical advice on how to succeed with Kickstarter. Very tidy process which has completely changed my list of initial actions. Facilitated ideation to make the project more Kickstarter friendly/applicable (and add value to my customers) with a new potential product.”
“It was great talking to you today. I got all the answers I needed, and a lot of useful advice and insights.”
“It was great to talk to you who have real experience launching a campaign for your own products and also for others. Listening to your experience is worth it. Including sharing the email campaign sequence, and the end to end process and what to consider. These are valuable insights.”

“I think for me, understanding the email conversion rates and the ways to promote email uptake was a key takeaway.”

“I just spent the better part of the afternoon reviewing my notes from our meeting and applying them to the bare-bones marketing strategy we already had in place. The key concepts you've shared with us in just that 1 hour are, quite simply, invaluable. We have already decided to continue using your services and invest in your full coaching programme.”
“I found the conversation very helpful, particularly in better understanding the Kickstarter process and where your experience could potentially fit into what we're building with Halcott.”
Reviews from longer engagements
The quotes above are all from the one-off hour. If you want to see what founders say after a full campaign build, including one whose project picked up Kickstarter's Projects We Love badge, those are on the home page.

Sixty minutes, one video call, on your actual campaign. You bring the thing you're stuck on: the funding goal, reward pricing, launch timing, whether your list is big enough, whether the page is doing its job. I've launched campaigns myself and I'm an official Kickstarter Expert Partner, so you get an answer rather than a discovery call.
There's no deliverable afterwards and no upsell built into it. If the honest answer is that you're not ready to launch, I'll say that, which is a cheaper hour than finding out on day 12 of a flat campaign.
